History
Temple Beth Emeth of Scottsdale was formed in the summer of l983 with the concept of forming a Conservative synagogue devoted to principle as well as faith, oriented towards a fully democratic administration, a spirit of “Chavurah”, equality of women, ongoing education, and affordable dues.
While the Congregation has held services and events in various locations, we have always called Scottsdale “home”. When we moved to our current location, the Torahs were walked to the new location on foot. The gala dedication of the new site and mounting of the Mezuzot took place with the participation of the Mayor of Scottsdale, Mary Manross, Rabbi Albert Plotkin, Rabbi Mark Bisman, and Rabbi Robert Kravitz.
